Goals & Outcomes

Our facilitators will provide you with the following:

• Designing conversations for effective dialogue versus debate

• Self-awareness and personal development as an ethical, values‐based facilitator

• Managing intergroup dynamics in dialogue and collaboration

• Applying dialogue tools and frameworks in professional and community contexts

• Time to collaborate with others about how you can mitigate bias

Session Structure

Transformational Dialogue Series:

• Content focused on preparing for and facilitating difficult conversations

• Immersive experiences provided through exhibits at the Museum of Tolerance

• Time to collaborate and prepare to implement your learning

• Facilitation by experienced researchers and facilitators

Session Dates

8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (at all locations)

• Wednesday and Thursday, November 6-7, at the Museum of Tolerance

• Tuesday, November 19, at the Los Angeles County Office of Education

• Tuesday, December 3, at the Museum of Tolerance
