Cultural Proficiency Mini Certification
Goals & Outcomes
Our facilitators will provide you with the following:
Introduction to the Conceptual Framework for Culturally Proficient
Practical application of the five tools of Cultural Proficiency
Historical overview of race and racism in the United States, including antisemitism.
Explore how to support marginalized and underserved populations, including LGBTQ+ and students with IEPs.
Session Structure
Cultural Proficiency Mini Certification offers:
- 21 hours of cultural proficiency content & collaboration
- Facilitation by experienced education leaders
- Opportunity for immersive learning in the Museum of Tolerance
- Hear from others who live this work, such as holocaust survivors
