School-Based Health and Wellness Learning Opportunities

Presented by the Greater Los Angeles Regional Transformational Assistance Center (R-TAC) in partnership with The Los Angeles Trust for Children's Health (The L.A. Trust). These sessions are designed to support regional grantees of the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP)  in their school-based health and wellness efforts.

• School-Based Health and Wellness Lightning Sessions: Each 30-minute virtual session provides a brief preview of a health and wellness training offered by The L.A. Trust. After attending, participants will have the chance to partner and schedule full-length trainings tailored for their school teams.
  
  
• Wellness Center Visits: An informative in-person tour of a school-based health and wellness center. Participants will gain insight into the impact of school-based healthcare and its role in supporting student well-being and academic success. They will also hear from local health partners and explore ways to strengthen partnerships.

Open to all K-12 educators and administrators within Los Angeles County.
Recommended for all CCSPP Grantees (Cohorts 1-4) in L.A. County. While sessions are designed for CCSPP grantees, any school or local educational agency seeking to learn about community schools is encouraged to attend.
