Peer Program: Restoritive Justive Practices
This 2-day in-person trauma-informed and experiential training utilizes real-world scenarios and examples to provide comprehensive instruction in both Restorative Justice (RJ) theory and application for members of the school community. RJ is a theoretical framework and process designed to foster, maintain, and reinforce relational trust. The training is particularly beneficial for those serving vulnerable youth populations by equipping participants with strategies to promote school connectedness.
This highly interactive training will focus on:
- Understanding RJ theory and application
- Utilizing real-world scenarios to practice equity and equality, ensuring all perspectives are valued
- Increasing self-awareness, social awareness, and a commitment to inclusion
- Enhancing capacity to build relational trust with others
