Beyond Red Ribbon Week: Engaging with Youth to Promote Health Advocacy (Fall/Winter)
Discover strategies to move beyond traditional awareness activities and empower students to become passionate health advocates on their campuses. This workshop will explore effective approaches to foster youth development and civic engagement around health advocacy. Participants will learn the tangible benefits of engaging students in advocacy work, from building critical thinking skills to fostering leadership. Through hands-on activities, discussions, and event planning ideas, this session will provide inspiration for meaningful initiatives to extend health promotion beyond Red Ribbon Week.
