Beyond the Basics - Advanced Brief Intervention Porgram Strategies

This advanced, follow-up professional development is designed for practitioners who have previously completed the Brief Intervention - An Alternative-to-Suspension Approach training and are ready to strengthen their skills and expand implementation within their school systems. Participants will receive a refresher on the framework and supporting worksheets while engaging in additional modeling and scenario-based application to enhance their confidence and effectiveness in working with adolescents.

What you'll Learn:

The session will provide an opportunity for participants to learn from one another by exploring successes, lessons learned, and common challenges experienced while delivering the intervention. Participants will also examine strategies for building a sustainable, districtwide approach to Brief Intervention, including systems-level considerations, staff roles, referral processes, and practices that support consistent delivery across schools.
