Addressing Youth Substance-Use on Campus

What does it take to build meaningful substance-use support pathways for students? This webinar will explore explore current substance-use trends, practical prevention strategies, supportive interventions, and cessation resources. We will also address ways to strengthen youth leadership, family partnerships, and schoolwide resources.

What this training will focus on:

  • Strengthening protective factors that reduce risk and support student well-being across school communities

  • Building staff capacity to recognize early signs, respond effectively, and refer with confidence

  • Implementing evidence-based strategies for prevention that are culturally responsive and equity centered

  • Promoting cessation supports that are accessible, nonjudgmental, and connected to community resources
