Join the Administrator Community of Practice:
Leading the Shift in STEM Instruction
Calling all district administrators! We're hosting a 3-hour Community of Practice meeting just for you. It's all about inspiring and equipping you to lead the transformation in how math, science, and computer science are taught in your district.
During the first collaborative session in September, we'll:
Dive into the goals of the Math, Science, and Computer Science (MSCS) Grant and how it's being rolled out in Los Angeles County.
Get hands-on with STEM inquiry to see what culturally and personally relevant instruction looks like, focusing on student reasoning and sense-making.
Clarify how Coaches, TOSAs, and teacher leaders can support classroom educators to facilitate student reasoning and sense making.
Work together with regional colleagues to plan district-level strategies for this instructional shift.
Join our leadership network and help administer engaging, equity-driven STEM learning experiences. Let's prepare every student to think critically, tackle complex problems, and innovate for the future. We can't wait to see you there!
