Supporting Multilingual Learners in Science
Come and join us for a day of fun and learning as we work towards supporting our Multilingual Learners in Science. Participants will learn how to provide authentic science experiences by engaging with the world around them. Think more deeply about pedagogical delivery to provide access and equity to content and authentic learning. Discover resources to assist students and teachers in and out of the classroom.
We will also provide resources from Community-based Organizations and model-specific GLAD strategies for content acquisition and formative assessments. In collaboration with the Los Angeles County Office of Education's Multilingual Academic Supports unit. LCAP Goals: 1,2,4,6,7,8
