NGSS Elementary Content Series
The Next Generation Science Standards provides an opportunity for students to engage more deeply and critically with science content.
Join us for 4 days as LACOE's STEM Science Unit and regional partners, provide content training for our Elementary teachers. We will focus on one core science area each day to model science instruction and provide resources.
Day 1: Earth and Space Science (Columbia Memorial Space Center)
Day 2: Life Science (Los Angeles Zoo)
Day 3: Physical Science (Aquarium of the Pacific)
Day 4: Engineering, Technology and Applications to Society (Ca Science Center)
Participants will have opportunities to ask questions, form a support network and learn science content.
*Fee $100 - $375
