Los Angeles County Science and Engineering Fair Online Teacher Workshop
This training serves as the official Los Angeles County Science and Engineering Fair Teacher Workshop. THIS IS NOT DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS! The course is designed to equip you with essential information, practical preparation, and actionable steps to effectively support students participating in the regional competition. The course takes approximately eight hours to complete when followed diligently and carefully. Built-in self-checks and evaluations are included throughout the course to help reinforce your learning. Upon successful completion of the module, there will be a final test. 80% is needed to pass and a certificate of completion will be provided. Participants will have until the end of the month for access to all materials. This course is designed into sections. Please be sure to pay close attention to the details of this training. However, during your own personal journey with the Science and Engineering Fair, please feel free to contact organization members or the facilitator of this online course. Part 1: Site Coordinators and the Role of the Fair Part 2: Pre-Approvals and the SRC Part 3: Getting Started with Students Part 4: Competition Day Again, upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.
