LA Science Leaders Institute
The LA Science Leadership Institute is designed to provide TOSA's, Coaches, and other education leaders the necessary skills and tools to support science instruction, initiatives, and advancing high quality access to science education. In partnership with K12 Alliance/WestED, this 4-day institute will support participants in creating and sustaining a thriving community that is leading work to spread strategic, high-impact, and equitable instructional practice that improves science teaching and learning to: leverage our sphere of influence - individually and collectively - to deepen science leadership to initiative and sustain systems change; grow science leadership knowledge and practices; and build coherence across systems and initiatives that address local needs. Mandatory Day 1 attendance. Participants will be allowed to miss one of the remaining 3 days. All sessions will be held at the WestED offices in Seal Beach. Meets LCAP Goals: 1-8
