From Insight to Impact: Connecting Science Data, Supports, and Instruction
Explore your California Science data, reflect on your practice, and design supports that work. In this hands-on session, educators and leaders collaborate across roles to turn insight into action—for every student. This session guides educators and administrators in using Dashboard and Interim Assessment data to inform science instructional practices, explore accessibility supports, and build actionable plans to support all learners.
This workshop serves as a foundation for additional workshops from the Assessment and STEM Science Unit.
We encourage you to attend as a team (District/Site Admin, TOSA/Coach, Teachers). Previous attendees, please note that there may be repetition of information or ideas.
- Understand the latest additions and changes to the Science Dashboard and CERS data
- Reflect on student progress and instructional strengths
- Explore performance tasks for deep science sensemaking with inclusive supports
- Collaborate across roles to design next steps for all learners
- Preview upcoming tools and resources
