Full program description
Celebrate student achievement, critical thinking, and collaboration at the Los Angeles County Office of Education’s Math Field Day! This exciting event brings together 4th–11th grade students from across the Los Angeles County to showcase their mathematical skills in problem solving, reasoning, and teamwork. It's a great opportunity for districts to support student engagement in math and build community through friendly academic competition. Families are welcome to join us for the Parents as Partners Workshop, Mathchella festival, STEM Fair, and Mini College Fair!

Key Dates:
- Registration opens on Tuesday, January 19, 2027.
- Registration deadline of Tuesday, March 23, 2027. No registration will be accepted after this date.
- Registration fee: Early-Bird Fee per team is $325 (four students and one certificated adult) if paid by Tuesday, March 2, 2027; $350 per team thereafter until registration closes on March 23, 2027.
- Proctors & Scorers: Certificated volunteers’ names (Form Link) by Friday, April 2, 2027.
- Upload signed photo release forms for each team member by Friday, April 9, 2027.
- Payment deadline of Monday, April 12, 2027.
- Proctors & Scorers’ Virtual Calibration Meeting, Monday, April 12, 2027. 3:15 pm - 4:30 pm. All proctors & scorers must attend.
- Los Angeles County Math Field Day, Saturday, April 24, 2027
