Full program description
Communication in the Classroom
A licensed speech-language pathologist will guide participants through an interactive exploration of inclusive communication strategies designed to increase student access, engagement, and participation in the classroom. Participants will complete a self-assessment to reflect on their current communication practices and identify areas for growth.
Following the self-assessment, participants will explore practical, evidence-informed strategies to reduce communication barriers and support students with a wide range of communication needs. Participants will have opportunities to practice selected strategies and consider how they can be incorporated into everyday classroom routines. Attendees will leave with practical tools and strategies to create a more accessible and inclusive learning environment for all students.
