Full program description
Keys to Content Writing provides professional development for research-based best practices in writing instruction that can be integrated in any subject and aligned to state literacy standards. Participants learn practical strategies for teaching writing skills, how to use writing to support content learning, and how to provide scaffolds to students who need support.
The full professional development course incorporates both asynchronous and synchronous learning components.
We will have 3 virtual sessions: a 30-minute kickoff, and two 90-minute sessions. The asynchronous coursework will take approximately 12 hours to complete. A training manual is included.

- Three Types of Writing (informational, opinion/argument, narrative)
