Getting Reading Right: Diving Deeper, 2026-2027
Join us for a year of goodness as we dive deeply into specific components of effective literacy instruction. Whether you were trained in our Getting Reading Right series or you're new to this work, we invite you to come alongside us in this year-long learning journey! While each session is designed as a stand-alone module, this registration link registers you for the whole kit and kaboodle! We'll have 10 two-hour sessions on Zoom throughout the 2026-27 school year:
- September 10: The Power of Data Protocols in PLCs
- October 8: Bringing Families to the Reading Table
- October 29: Leveraging Oral Language Structures and Scaffolds
- November 19: Phonemic Awareness-Building for Upper Elementary
- December 10: Unlocking Multisyllabic Decoding Through the 6 Syllable Types
- January 28: What's Handwriting Got to Do with Reading?
- February 18: Utilizing Spelling Analysis to Inform Reading Instruction
- March 18: Demystifying Skill-Specific Small Group Instruction
- April 29: Syntax and Sentences and Sense--Oh My!
- May 13: Reimagining Read-Alouds: Enhancing Cross-Content Receptive and Expressive Vocabulary
