Valley to Coast Collaborative: LTEL Community of Practice 2025-2026
This Community of Practice (CoP) is designed to support educators and leaders in deepening their understanding and use of data to improve instruction for Long-Term English Learners (LTELs). The CoP will focus on three key areas:
- Navigating and interpreting data dashboards to identify trends and areas of need.
- Examining reclassification criteria and identifying effective supports to help LTELs meet reclassification goals.
- Utilizing resources from the LTEL Toolkit and connecting instructional practices to the LTEL modules.
- Participants will engage in shared learning around effective use of California dashboard data, reclassification practices, and practical strategies that can be applied directly in schools and districts.
The CoP will also provide opportunities to exchange best practices, tools, and resources that enhance outcomes for LTELs.
