Dual Language Immersion Site Leadership Series: Empowering Dual Language Leaders


Session Overview:

The Dual Language Immersion Leadership Series is a professional learning opportunity designed to empower educational leaders with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively guide and support DLI programs. Each session blends essential topics and strategic priorities with collaborative planning and peer networking. Participants will engage in meaningful dialogue and shared learning to deepen their understanding of best practices and innovative approaches in dual language education.

Learning Objectives:

Build Leadership Capacity – Strengthen your ability to champion and lead DLI initiatives at the school and district levels.
Explore Effective Practices – Examine research-based strategies that support successful dual language instruction and program development.
Support High-Quality Implementation – Gain practical guidance for launching, managing, and sustaining robust DLI programs.
Advance Equity and Inclusion – Learn how to ensure DLI programs are accessible, inclusive, and beneficial for all learners.
Cultivate Professional Connections – Collaborate with fellow DLI leaders to exchange ideas, share resources, and build a lasting support network.

Sessions are offered free of charge with support from the Bilingual Teacher Professional Development Program (BTPDP) Grant through the California Department of Education.
