Designing for Educators: UDL Guidelines 3.0 in Practice
This 75-minute virtual workshop will focus on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and the UDL Guidelines 3.0, which were updated in 2024. We will explore the key changes in the Guidelines, which focus on learner-centered language, interdependence and collective learning, identity and bias. We will draw on the UDL Guidelines as we work through practical examples, exploring how to design flexible learning environments that anticipate learner variability and respond to it with intention.
