Designing for Administrators: UDL Guidelines 3.0
This 75-minute virtual workshop is designed for site and district leaders seeking to deepen their understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and the updated UDL Guidelines 3.0.
The session will examine the major shifts introduced in the 2024 update to the UDL Guidelines, including learner-centered language, interdependence and collective learning, identity as part of learner variability, and the recognition of individual, institutional, and systemic bias as barriers to learning.
Through discussion and analysis of instructional examples, administrators will consider the implications of these shifts for leadership, school culture, instructional design, and systems-level decision making. Participants will reflect on how UDL can support more inclusive, equitable, and learner-centered learning environments across their sites.
Learning Objectives
