Become a volunteer Judge for Histroy Day LA!
History Day L.A. encourages students to prepare posters, exhibits, papers, web sites, performances, and documentary presentations on a historical theme. Winners from all categories are invited to compete at the state level; state winners proceed to compete at the National History Day Contest. Judges play a vital role in this process.
As a judge, we guarantee that the experience will be extremely rewarding. The enthusiasm of the students is infectious; and their knowledge, remarkable. A deep knowledge of history is not required; the students will teach you!
We provide the training, YOU provide the interest, the students of Los Angeles County reap the benefits of your time and careful attention in an arena where the student is the expert! A judges orientation is also provided.
