Full program description
Teaching for Civic Engagement Network
Join our Civic Education Community of Practice, a collaborative professional learning network designed for secondary educators who are committed to strengthening civic learning and student engagement. Meeting bi-monthly, this community provides a space for teachers to share successes, discuss challenges, exchange classroom resources, and explore effective practices for teaching civics in today's complex world. Participants will engage in meaningful conversations around civic inquiry, media literacy, civil discourse, student voice, and action-oriented civic learning while building connections with colleagues across schools and districts. Whether you are new to civic education or an experienced practitioner, this collaborative space offers opportunities to learn, reflect, and grow alongside fellow educators dedicated to preparing informed and engaged citizens.
