531 – Integers, Brain Research & Differentiated Instruction (Gr. 4-10)
This is an 8-week online course
Teachers develop a mathematical understanding of the key concepts of integers for teaching algebra. The course integrates standards-based lessons with strategies for differentiated instruction and brain-based research classroom applications. Particular emphasis is placed on growth mindsets. Participants have opportunities to view video clips of master teachers working with their students, followed by online discussions and professional online reflection journals.
