Full program description

26-27 Mapping the Future: A Blueprint for College and Career Success

This targeted professional development for high school counselors focuses on strengthening systems and practices that align with the College and Career Indicator (CCI) to ensure all students graduate prepared for postsecondary success. Participants will deepen their understanding of CCI measures and explore how to intentionally align counseling programs, student supports, and schoolwide initiatives to increase college and career readiness outcomes. The session will include strategies for strengthening A–G completion, expanding access to dual enrollment and career pathways, supporting college and financial aid application completion, and using data to monitor progress and close opportunity gaps. Counselors will leave with actionable tools and a strategic framework to map, implement, and sustain a comprehensive college and career readiness plan aligned with accountability goals and student success.
