The Leveling up Language through AVID Academic Language Routines training empowers educators to strengthen students’ academic language and literacy skills essential for success across all content areas. Participants will explore strategies to scaffold vocabulary, sentence construction, and scholarly discourse, helping students access complex texts and express ideas with clarity and precision. Educators will leave with practical tools to support academic language development in reading, writing, and discussion across disciplines.
