UTK, Equity, and Action
Envisioning Equitable TK Classrooms in Action focuses on envisioning equitable Transitional Kindergarten (TK) classrooms by exploring the question:
What should leaders see in inclusive, high-quality, culturally and linguistically relevant TK classrooms?
Participants will explore key principles of child development, alignment across the preschool-to-kindergarten continuum, and strategies for identifying equity-focused "look-for" in TK classrooms.
Through engaging activities and discussions, leaders will develop the skills and knowledge needed to implement California’s Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK) initiatives, ensuring equitable and effective learning environments for all young children.
