New School Leaders Community of Practice

Through a comprehensive series of twelve one-hour sessions, our primary focus will be on developing fundamental practices that cultivate effective school leadership. This Community of Practice is specifically designed for school leaders who are in their first three years of administration, a critical period marked by numerous challenges and opportunities that profoundly influence student outcomes.

As a cohesive Community of Practice, we will explore dynamic leadership strategies that can make a difference in fostering student success within your school or district. We will delve into various crucial areas, including leveraging student data to optimize instructional practices and create a conducive learning environment. Additionally, we will delve into the significance of meaningful teacher evaluations, fostering harmonious employee group relations, promoting parent engagement, championing equity, and other pertinent subjects that are vital for effectively leading schools through an ongoing process of improvement and refinement.
