Equity Lessons From The Field: A Community of Practice for Principals and Assistant Principals

Join 21CSLA and school leaders from six California counties in this seven-part series led by Dr. Michael Chavez. Each session will include a guest speaker who will be spotlighting a signature practice of how they interrupted inequities at their school to improve access, inclusion, and opportunity for marginalized students.

The participants from this Community of Practice will discuss the current equity problem of practice, share resources, and best practices, and engage in a rehearsal space for building leader capacity to change systems. The first session will be in-person so that participants can begin to build community and prioritize topics to discuss during the seven-part series. The other sessions will be virtual.
