Disrupting Inequities in Schools – A Community of Practice for Community School Leaders
Systemic inequities in education perpetuate disparities in student outcomes and opportunities based on factors such as race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and ability. School leaders play a pivotal role in addressing these inequities within their schools and communities. Some of the main topics covered include:
- Deepening our understanding of systemic inequities in Community Schools
- Exploring strategies for identifying and addressing inequities in Community Schools
- Accessing tools and resources for promoting equity and inclusivity
- Collaboration and networking with school leaders committed to advancing equity in education. This CoP is designed to empower principals with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to combat systemic inequities in schools through readings, discussion, and concrete examples.
