School Accountability Report Card (SARC)

We will host three meetings with the same content designed to provide an overview of the School Accountability Report Card (SARC) as it relates to Williams Legislation on instructional materials. These meetings will provide an overview of the school accountability reporting requirements for textbook sufficiency, as well as preparing and disseminating the SARC, and the timelines for preparation and dissemination of the SARC.

The Los Angeles County Office of Education’s (LACOE) Williams Instructional Materials (WIM) Unit within the Division of Accountability, Support and Monitoring (ASM) provides reviews and monitors the Los Angeles County schools that are on the list of schools that are eligible to be monitored and reviewed for Williams instructional materials compliance. This unit also oversees the districts’ Williams Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP) quarterly reporting and supports districts with the instructional materials component of the School Accountability Report Card (SARC).
