Registered Pre-Apprenticeship: Establishing K–12 to Postsecondary Career Pathways
This two-hour virtual workshop will support local education agencies (LEAs) in establishing registered pre-apprenticeship programs that connect K–12 learning experiences to post-secondary education and career opportunities, including registered apprenticeship programs. Participants will take away the LACOE Pre-Apprenticeship Handbook and planning tools with step-by-step DAS directions to meet requirements, align work-based learning, and prepare for establishing apprenticeship partners to implement a strong program.
Participants will learn how to utilize the LACOE Pre-Apprenticesehip Handbook and planning tools, evaluate their current readiness, identify program strengths and gaps, and develop preliminary next steps.
