2025-2026 Learning Collaborative: Strengthening Systems for Differentiated Assistance Support
Centered on Data, Systems, and Practices Using System Wise
Facilitated by the Center for District Capacity Building, in partnership with the ADL and LCAP Teams

This interactive in-person session is designed for districts eligible for Differentiated Assistance (DA) and will provide focused support around data, systems, and practices to drive continuous improvement and equitable outcomes for students. Grounded in the insights and frameworks from the book System Wise, participants will engage in collaborative learning and planning to strengthen their internal systems and strategic responses to DA.

Throughout the day, participants will:

• Explore actionable supports aligned to specific student groups and state priority areas
• Examine how Differentiated Assistance intersects with and informs LCAP development and implementation
• Engage in cross-functional planning that connects system design, data literacy, and instructional practices
• Reflect on opportunities to embed systemic improvement efforts that are coherent, sustainable, and equity-driven

This session is a joint effort led by the Center for District Capacity Building (CDCB) with key contributions from LACOE’s Advancing Data Literacy (ADL) team and LCAP support team. Together, these teams will provide integrated tools and strategies to help districts create and sustain a strong foundation for improvement that aligns with the California MTSS framework and the goals of the CA School System's Support structure.
