with Featured Speaker: Kimberli Breen, MS, CAS, MA, Behavior Change Agent, Affecting Behavior Change, Inc.
This advanced 2-day training is designed for districts, LEAs, and school sites ready to move beyond foundational practices and deepen their Family and Community Engagement (FACE) work within the California MTSS framework. Building on core principles, this session focuses on sustaining authentic partnerships, embedding engagement in systems-level work, and using data to inform and elevate family voice in decision-making.
Participants will explore strategic planning for long-term engagement, methods for co-designing with families, and tools for evaluating the effectiveness of FACE initiatives. The training emphasizes capacity building, continuous improvement, and aligning engagement efforts with district goals and priorities. Attendees will leave equipped with advanced strategies, collaborative frameworks, and actionable steps to embed Family and Community Engagement as a key lever for equity and student success.
