Family and Community Engagement: Lunch & Learn

1-Hour Online Zoom Sessions

Join colleagues from across the region for a one-hour collaborative learning session dedicated to strengthening Family and Community Engagement practices. Led by Kim Breen, this interactive Lunch & Learn provides an opportunity to connect with peers, share successes and challenges, explore promising practices, and learn from one another in a supportive community of practice. Whether you are just beginning your family engagement journey or looking to strengthen existing efforts, each session offers practical ideas and meaningful dialogue to enhance your work.

Participants will:

Connect with colleagues to discuss current Family and Community Engagement successes, challenges, and questions.

Share promising practices and learn from the experiences of other schools and districts.

Explore a focused Family and Community Engagement topic or strategy that can be applied in local contexts.

Reflect on current practices and identify practical ideas to strengthen authentic family-school-community partnerships.

Leave with actionable strategies, resources, and connections to support continuous growth and improvement.

This one-hour Lunch & Learn is designed for school and district leaders, educators, family engagement staff, counselors, and anyone committed to building stronger partnerships with families and communities through ongoing collaboration and shared learning.

NO COST to LA County LEAs and their schools.
