Family and Community Engagement: From Partnership to Systemic Practice
This professional learning session is designed for educators and leadership teams who are ready to intentionally embed authentic family-school-community partnerships into their systems. Building upon the principles of Family-School Collaboration in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, participants will explore how to move from engagement as an event to partnership as a sustainable organizational practice that drives continuous improvement and equitable outcomes.
Participants will:
- Deepen their understanding of family-school-community partnerships as a critical driver of effective CA MTSS implementation.
- Explore strategies for embedding authentic family engagement into leadership, decision-making, continuous improvement, and organizational systems.
- Strengthen practices that elevate family voice, shared leadership, and collaborative problem-solving across all tiers of support.
- Examine tools and processes that build internal capacity for sustainable family and community engagement.
- Develop actionable next steps to strengthen organizational coherence and create lasting partnerships that improve outcomes for all students.
This session is designed for educational leaders and implementation teams who are ready to move beyond foundational family engagement practices and build a culture where families and communities are valued as essential partners in achieving equitable, sustainable student success.
