CA MTSS Overview

 

Build an introductory understanding for implementing the California Multi-Tiered System of Support (CA MTSS). This interactive professional learning session provides an introduction to the CA MTSS Framework, its purpose, essential components, and the conditions that support successful systems change. Participants will explore how CA MTSS creates coherent, equitable, and integrated systems that improve outcomes for every student while strengthening collaboration across schools and districts.

 

Participants will:

       Develop an introductory understanding of the California Multi-Tiered System of Support (CA MTSS).

       Be introduced to the CA MTSS Essential Domains and Features and their role in building an effective system of support.

       Learn and discuss how CA MTSS supports equitable outcomes through integrated academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and family/community systems.

 

Whether you are new to CA MTSS or looking to strengthen your systems approach, this session will provide the introductory knowledge needed to begin your CA MTSS journey.
