CA MTSS Foundations (3-Day Professional Learning Series)
Move beyond the introduction and begin building the knowledge, skills, and structures needed for successful CA MTSS implementation. This three-day learning experience provides participants with a comprehensive exploration of the California Multi-Tiered System of Support (CA MTSS) Framework, emphasizing systems thinking, continuous improvement, and the organizational conditions necessary to support equitable outcomes for all students. Through collaborative learning, reflection, and application, participants will strengthen their understanding of how to develop coherent systems that lead to sustainable implementation.
Participants will:
● Deepen their understanding of the California Multi-Tiered System of Support (CA MTSS) Framework and the principles that guide effective implementation.
● Explore the CA MTSS Essential Domains and Features and examine how they work together to create coherent systems of support.
● Build foundational knowledge of systems thinking, implementation science, and continuous improvement to support sustainable change.
● Learn how to assess current system strengths and opportunities for growth using the CA MTSS Framework.
● Begin developing a shared vision and actionable next steps to strengthen equitable, integrated supports within their local educational agency.
This three-day series is designed for educational leaders and implementation teams who are ready to establish a strong foundation for long-term, sustainable CA MTSS implementation.
