2025-2026 2-Day Foundational Training: Family and Community Engagement through CA MTSS
with Featured Speaker: Kimberli Breen, MS, CAS, MA, Behavior Change Agent, Affecting Behavior Change, Inc.
This 2-day interactive training provides foundational support for districts, LEAs, and school sites to deepen their understanding and implementation of Family and Community Engagement within the California MTSS framework. Participants will explore core principles, essential practices, and evidence-based strategies that promote authentic partnerships with families and communities. The training will focus on building a shared vision, equitable communication practices, culturally responsive engagement, and systems alignment to create inclusive environments that uplift family voice and support student success. Attendees will walk away with practical tools, planning resources, and a clear roadmap for strengthening engagement efforts at all levels of the educational system.
